The application package is downloadable online or you may visit the Embassy of Japan in Jamaica, located at NCB Towers, North Tower, 6th floor, 2 Oxford Road, Kingston 5 to collect the application form(s). Please note that we will NOT accept any incomplete or late applications. The application period for ALT is NOW OPEN. Deadline for submission is : 4pm, Friday, 28 November 2025.

Supporting Documents – Letters of Reference, Transcripts, Statement of Purpose, Teaching or Language Proficiency Qualifications(ALT), etc., must be arranged in a specific order. Please refer to The 2026 JET Programme Application Guidelines and the Check List.

* Please note that we DO NOT accept applications submitted electronically.
* If you plan to personally bring your applications to the Embassy, please ensure the following: (1) on your envelope, write your name and specify that it contains JET Programme application materials (as you would if you were mailing the applications); and (2) bring your ID.
