On July 30, Ambassador Maruyama paid a courtesy call on the Most Honourable Dr. Andrew Holness, ON, PC, MP, Prime Minister of Jamaica. They exchanged views on disaster resilience and Japan–Jamaica cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations based on shared values. Prime Minister Holness also extended his sympathies following the recent Kumamoto Earthquake.
