Ambassador Maruyama’s Courtesy Call on Vice Admiral Antonette Wemyss-Gorman, Chief of Defence Staff, Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) (9 June 2026)

　On June 9, Ambassador Maruyama paid a courtesy call on Vice Admiral Antonette Wemyss-Gorman, Chief of Defence Staff, Jamaica Defence Force (JDF). They exchanged views on the role of the JDF in times of natural disasters and possibilities of Japan–Jamaica cooperation, especially in the field of peacekeeping.
