Handover Ceremony for a School Bus at Port Antonio Primary School (28 April 2026)

  On April 28, Ambassador Maruyama attended the handover ceremony for a new school bus provided under Japan’s Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) at Port Antonio Primary School. Through this project, a 29-seater bus was donated to improve the safety and reliability of students’ daily commute. In his remarks, the Ambassador expressed his hope that the bus will help students focus on their studies and pursue their dreams. The ceremony was held in a warm atmosphere, with a heartfelt performance by the school choir.
