On March 12, Deputy Chief of Mission, Ms. Maejima attended a signing ceremony for the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP). The ceremony for the project titled “The Provision of a School Minibus for Marlie Hill Primary and Infant School” was held at the Technical and Vocational Unit of the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth and Information in Kingston. Under this project, a school bus will be provided to Marlie Hill Primary and Infant School in Manchester to ensure safe and reliable transportation for students living in remote areas. This initiative is expected to improve access to education and contribute to enhanced educational outcomes within the community.
