Presentation of Credentials by Ambassador Maruyama to the Secretary-General of the International Seabed Authority (26 January 2026)

  On January 26, Ambassador Maruyama presented his credentials as Permanent Representative of Japan to the International Seabed Authority (ISA) to Ms. Leticia Reis de Carvalho, Secretary-General of the ISA at its Headquarters. Japan values the important role of the ISA in managing deep-sea mineral resources and protecting the marine environment and looks forward to strengthening cooperation and contributing actively to ISA activities.
