On January 23rd, Ambassador Maruyama met with Mr. McCook, General Manager, and Ms. Watts, Trade & Administrative Manager, of Jamaica UCC Blue Mountain Coffee Company Ltd. During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed his heartfelt sympathy for the damage caused by Hurricane Melissa and exchanged views on the current situation of coffee farms in the Blue Mountain region, as well as the long-standing partnership between Japan and Jamaica in the coffee sector.
