Courtesy Call on Ambassador Atsumi by the Delegation from the Negril Education Environment Trust (NEET)

On July 16th, His Excellency Yasuhiro Atsumi, Ambassador of Japan to Jamaica, received a courtesy call from students and teachers from the Negril Education Environment Trust (NEET), who will be visiting Japan as part of sister region exchanges between Tottori Prefecture and the parish of Westmoreland.
Following a greeting in Japanese, the delegation of the NEET shared with Ambassador Atsumi that they will perform at Expo 2025 in Osaka and that, whilst in Tottori, they are scheduled to engage in exchanges, study Japanese and undertake site visits. In return, Ambassador Atsumi congratulated them on the deepening of exchanges between Tottori and Westmoreland including through mutual visits by students and wished the delegation a safe and meaning trip.
