Official Ceremony of the Traveling Exhibition

On August 9, 2024, the Embassy of Japan in Jamaica held an official ceremony for the travelling exhibition (Netsuke: non-slip toggle) at the National Museum Jamaica. Ambassador Atsumi and Director Greenland of the National Museum Jamaica gave opening remarks, and an intern from the museum, who had studied Netsuke in conjunction with this exhibition, introduced the history and appeal of Netsuke.
