Japan Day 2023

On February 26, Japan Day was held at the Pegasus Hotel. About 1000 people including diplomatic corps visited this event.
The event began with a Koto(traditional Japanese stringed instrument made of wood) performance, Karate demonstrations, a Bon dance, a cosplay show, a Soranbushi dance(Japanese traditional dance) and ended with Ikebana demonstrations.
Additionally, at each booth, information on JICA, JET, and Japanese Government Scholarship was provided and cultural experiences such as calligraphy, origami and trying on Yukatas were offered. Hina dolls were also on display. Many people showed their interest in Japanese culture.
