Courtesy call on Ambassador Atsumi by Ms.Tomoko Uemura

On January 17, Ms. Tomoko Uemura, a Japanese language teacher at Utech and Language Training Center, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Atsumi and Mrs.Atsumi joined in the meeting. Ms. Uemura explained the current situation of Japanese culture and Japanese language education in Jamaica.In addition, they discussed ideas for promoting friendship with Jamaica in preparation for the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Jamaica next year.
Ms. Tomoko Uemura received the Ambassador’s commendation award in 2019.
