Ambassador Fujiwara visits Tottori Prefecture

On April 18, 2022, Ambassador Fujiwara visited Tottori prefecture and exchanged ideas about further cooperation with relevant persons including Tottori Governor, Shinji Hirai, and Mr. Shinichi Hamazaki, Chairman of the Tottori-Jamaica Prefectural Assembly Members Alliance.

During this visit, Ambassador Fujiwara visited Tottori Prefectural Fuse Sports Park Athletics Stadium, which was used as a training camp for Jamaica’s track and field athletes. He also visited Tottori Koryo High School, which hosted an exchange programme with Jamaican high school students in 2019. Additionally, he conversed about the fields of sports and youth exchange between Tottori prefecture and Jamaica.

Tottori prefecture is known for having a sister region relationship with the parish of Westmoreland.
