Japanese expert involved in scientific research of the Sunken City, Port Royal.

October 21st, Ambassador Fujiwara participated in an information sharing session online hosted by Jamaica’s Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport towards registration of the Sunken City, which was plunged under the sea after the earthquake in 1692, on the World Heritage List of UNESCO. Also, on the 27th, Ambassador Fujiwara exchanged opinions about Japanese collaboration with Dr. Kotaro Yamafune, underwater Archeologist who is participating in research project of the Sunken City, Port Royal in Jamaica.
