Visa: How to Obtain more information

There are four methods for obtaining visa information:
  1. The applicant or a representative may come in to the Embassy and speak with the Visa Clerk at the Visa Window which is open from Mondays through to Fridays, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm., except for public and national holidays.
  2. Call the Visa Section during our office hours at 1-876-929-3338-(9).
  3. If the visa applicant needs more information that cannot be obtained from the home page or over the phone, and lives and works within the area handled by this Embassy, he or she may request visa information by e-mail. The basic information listed below must be included with your request. If you do not receive a reply within three days, please resend your request or use one of the other methods to obtain information
    1. Your Nationality / citizenship
    2. Your visa status in Jamaica
    3. Detailed purpose of your trip to Japan
    4. Your intended length of stay in Japan
    5. Your occupation
    6. Your current place of residence
    7. Your contact information
