Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP)

What is GGP?
Since 1995, the Government of Japan has provided assistance to Jamaica through the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP).
The GGP provides financial support for small-scale development projects that directly address the basic human needs of communities in Jamaica. Priority areas include education, healthcare, water and sanitation, and other initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life and promoting human security at the grassroots level.

3 Available Funding
The maximum grant amount available under the GGP is 10 million Japanese yen (approximately USD 63,000) per project.

How to Apply
To apply for the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP), please download and complete the Project Concept Paper and submit it by email to the Grassroots Human Security Projects Coordinator at the Embassy of Japan: ggpjapan@kg.mofa.go.jp.
