Ambassador Fujiwara paid a courtesy call on His Worship The Mayor Councillor Bertel Moore, Mayor of Savanna-la-mar

December 7^th 2020, Ambassador Fujiwara paid a courtesy call on His Worship The Mayor Councillor Bertel Moore, Mayor of Savanna-la-mar. After receiving the briefing about the status of sister city relations between Tottori prefecture of Japan and Westmoreland Parish of Jamaica, Ambassador Fujiwara exchanged idea with His Worship The Mayor on how to further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and Jamaica. After the call, Ambassador Fujiwara joined the tour of Westmoreland Municipal Corporation’s new building and observed the Pine Tree which was planted at the Westmoreland Parish Library during the visit of Tottori Prefecture Governor Hirai in 2016 to commemorate the sister city relations.
