Message of condolences by Foreign Minister of Japan Taro Kono, following the damages caused by the hurricane that hit the Northern Bahamas

Following the damages resulting from the Hurricane Dorian that hit the Northern Bahamas on August 30, Mr. Taro Kono, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan delivered the following message of condolences to Honourable Darren Henfield, Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy to the government of The Bahamas and its people on the damages from Hurricane Dorian in the Northern Bahamas.
The Government of Japan decided to provide emergency relief goods to The Bahamas, following serious damage from the hurricane.
I offer my sincere condolences to all those who lost their lives, and I sincerely pray for the prompt restoration of the affected areas.”
