Embassy of Japan in Jamaica also has been accredited to the Bahamas and Belize.
This year is Jamaica-Japan 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations and Friendship, and Japan- CARICOM Friendship year.

    On Tuesday, July 22, 2014, Embassy of Japan and Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force hosted "Joint Band Concert" in collaboration with Jamaica Defence Force at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre in Kingston.
