    On October2-4, 2014, Abeya Tsugaru Shamisen (Japanese lute) concerts and workshop were held in Jamaica in celebration of Japan-Jamaica 50th aniversary of diplomatic relations and Japan-CARICOM Frienship Year.     On Friday, October 10th, Jamaica Olympic Association hosted a 50 years Anniversary of Tokyo Olympic Games at JOA office in Kingston.     On September 18th, Mr. Stewart who returned to Jamaica after participating in the Japanese Language Training Program in Japan sponsored by the Japan Foundation paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Takase at Japan Embassy.Mr. Stewart along with participants from all around the world visited Japan from August 27 until September 10. Japan Foundation Kansai International Center FY2014 Japanese Language Training Program in Japan for high achievers in each country.

"Reggae Boys"will visit Japan to take part in the Kirin Challenge Cup 2014 to have a match against Japanese National Football Team "Samurai Blue" in Niigata on October 10th.
